Crazy Maze Youth Hostel prepares for World Youth Day

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Well all the Sydney backpackers down here at Nomads Maze Backpackers Hostel have been warned they must be on their best behavior this month as we get ready to play our important role as the whole World looks on and Sydney comes to a standstill to Host World Youth Day 2008.

World Youth Day (WYD) is the largest youth event in the world and will be held in Sydney from Tuesday 15 to Sunday 20 July 2008. The Catholic church says it is close to achieving its pilgrims target for World Youth Day with 197,000 local and overseas Catholic youths headed for Sydney to see the Pope.

Backpackers and party people do not have to worry as we have kept a number of beds for our usual guests who are wanting to party it up at the Sydneys famous Maze Backpackers Hostel.

Please be aware that due to the busy period Sydney backpackers are warned to ensure that they pre-book and pay for all accommodation at Nomads Maze Backpackers for the month of July, so if your planning either to join in the festivities in town perhaps go and try your luck for a photo with Pope Benedict XVI or just to party it up with us at our youth hostel, please remember to plan ahead.

From all of us here at Nomads Maze Backpackers Hostel we hope you have a wonderful day and hope to see you soon!!
