Cairns Beach House Backpackers Hostel celebrated staff member Scott’s birthday on Saturday May 3rd. It had been decided a couple of weeks earlier that our Cairns Backpackers would make it a dress up party but the youth hostel staff couldn’t decide on a theme so it was up to each person.

All the Backpackers Hostel staff had costumes organized for the night and slowly during the night the costumes would appear! Birthday boy came as Fred Flintstone and other costumes ranged from a priest to a gladiator and many more.

The night was made to be a GREAT one for all of us as well as our Beach House Bar!! The Backpackers Bar staff ALL got involved and had let all the Cairns Beach House backpackers know about it during the day to make sure the bar was full that night. All the Cairns Backpackers had a great time and were talking about it the next day for those who could remember the night!

All the Cairns Beach House Backpackers Hostel staff and all the backpackers of course ended up out on the town in the popular Rhino Bar in Cairns still wearing our costume’s to make sure we stood out from the crowd which we sure did!

Nomads Beach House Backpackers Hostel in Cairns has kicked off our peak season with a bar bounce to remember. We had 85 Cairns Backpackers all partying the night away. Playing games and having fun was the aim of the night and everyone achieved that.

We started off at the Cairns Serpent Backpackers Bar, then returned here to Nomads Cairns Beach House Backpackers. Everybody was singing, dancing and really having a good night.

Then it we went out on the town for some more laughs with a few more games played and prizes given away it was only a short bounce to the next bar for a bit of sing along fun and a friendly competition of boys V girls in a singing battle. This is a bit of a hard one to call but I think the girls won that one, we’ll beat them next week!!!.

We then rocked the rest of the night away at Rhinobar (one of Cairns premier backpacker Bars). All in all this was a night to remember.  Stay tuned for more Nomads Beach House Backpackers Hostel updates on the madness that is Cairns.
