Beach Walk in the middle of Winter? Are you MAD??
Tuesday, July 1st, 2008Here at Legend has it Westend we have a wide range of free activities!!! The Bondi to Coogee beach walk is said to be one of the top ten things to do while in Sydney! It is a fun filled, action packed, two hour guided tour, by two of the most knowledgable guides in Sydney! The Sun was shining there were no clouds in the sky… It was a beautiful winters day and some would say it was a perfect day for the beach walk and we couldn’t have agreed more. The tide was the highest it has been in months and the waves all along the coast were massive. It is whale migrating season and the largest pod of whales is close to Sydneys shores… no whales has been sighted yet but we are keeping our hopes high…
There are many fun facts and interesting stories along the way which include the famous John Durkin (better known as the “hobo” on the rocks), suicide point, Clovelley Bowling Club, and the old light house! With stops along the way at Bronte beach it is not an ardous walk and a great time is had by everyone.
