“Queens Day” at Nomads Serpent Backpackers Hostel Cairns
The 30th of April was a special day for the Dutch Interns here at Nomads Serpent Backpackers Hostel in Cairns!!! They brought their celebration day to Australia…the birthday of their past Queen. The Serpent Backpackers Bar was decked out in all kinds of decorations!
Orange was the color of the night and it was the colour of the body spray that they sprayed on every unsuspecting person! There were many activites planned for the celebration, in the Serpent Backpackers Bar.
The Cairns Backpackers interns showed their skills in the joint rolling competion, and the Spijker Poepen! After all the guests had their free meal in the Cairns Backpackers Bar, which was fittingly Hutspot (one of the dutch specialties) they got into some real dutch beer!
The Cairns Serpent Hostel Bar went through ALOT of Grolsch and Heineken! Even though not everyone was Dutch, they sure knew about Queens Day by the end of the night!
