Nomads Fat Camel Backpackers Hostel in Auckland is unique in that 5 to 6 of the backpackers dorm rooms each share kitchen facilities, bathroom facilities and a cosy lounge area to socialise.

The Auckland Backpackers Hostel staff are currently really busy sprucing these hostel apartments up one at a time. Each backpackers apartment is being checked from top to bottom and getting a fresh lick of paint to the walls as well as huge deep clean and nice new posters!

Nomads Industry Backpackers Youth Hostel in Melbourne will be coloured orange this Wednesday 30th April for the celebration of the Dutch Queen’s Day.

It’s a big public holiday in the Netherlands and the Dutch staff and guests at Nomads Industry Backpackers Hostel sure can’t go on for a year without this celebration.

We’re having a ‘Dutch’ party complete with cheap Heineken, Dutch food and Dutch games at our Melbourne Backpackers Bar. The dress code for the evening is simple…ORANGE is the colour!

Nomads Industry Youth Hostel Backpackers farewelled their beloved Melbourne Youth Hostel Backpackers manager Carly on Friday as she sets off on her own travel adventure.

Her cheerful demeanour and upbeat attitude made Carly a popular figure and her departure was felt throughout the youth hostel.

Grieving backpackers and staff all traipsed over to the Melbourne Youth Hostel’s Industry Bar and Lounge to drown their sorrows with the FREE champagne at Ladies Night.

The staff and backpackers at Nomads Industry Backpackers Youth Hostel Melbourne all wish Carly the very best in her travels.

Nomads Beach House Backpackers Hostel in Cairns has kicked off our peak season with a bar bounce to remember. We had 85 Cairns Backpackers all partying the night away. Playing games and having fun was the aim of the night and everyone achieved that.

We started off at the Cairns Serpent Backpackers Bar, then returned here to Nomads Cairns Beach House Backpackers. Everybody was singing, dancing and really having a good night.

Then it we went out on the town for some more laughs with a few more games played and prizes given away it was only a short bounce to the next bar for a bit of sing along fun and a friendly competition of boys V girls in a singing battle. This is a bit of a hard one to call but I think the girls won that one, we’ll beat them next week!!!.

We then rocked the rest of the night away at Rhinobar (one of Cairns premier backpacker Bars). All in all this was a night to remember.  Stay tuned for more Nomads Beach House Backpackers Hostel updates on the madness that is Cairns.
